How We Work
Acquiring complete libraries, rather than buying individual books, is a proven method for strategically building an institution's library. Historically, libraries in North America and Western Europe are organized around one or more large acquisitions. This is a model many librarians - such as Etienne D'hondt at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) or David Bundy at Fuller Theological Seminary (United States) - use today. The goal is simple: to develop and maintain a library that both supports the current curriculum and anticipates future questions.
The Theological Book Network is committed to helping your institution "acquire libraries." We work to meet your specific needs, both immediate and future, so the more information you are able to provide, the better. From introductory level courses to advanced master's and doctoral programs, the Network has materials well suited for you. If there are a number of specific titles you must have, just ask--we probably have or can get them.
Feel free to email or phone us, or make an appointment to visit our warehouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We welcome the opportunity to show what we can do for our partner institutions. With help from the Network, acquiring a library for your school may be easier than you think.
